Superintendent Al Albano

Superintendent Al Albano joined the Halton Regional Police Service in 1990. His policing career started as a uniform patrol constable in the City of Burlington. Since that time he has worked in a number of assignments including the Drug and Morality Bureau, Homicide Unit, Milton/Halton Hills as a patrol supervisor, Executive Officer to the Chief overseeing the Quality Assurance Bureau, the Diversity Unit and the Planning and Research Bureau. Al also served as the Commander of Regional Intelligence and Drugs. He is currently the Commander of #1 District (Milton-Halton Hills). He is the Chair of the Service's Technology User Group (TUG), Chair of the Enterprise Governance Committee. Al has been the Project Lead for Electronic Crown Briefs and is currently the Project Lead for LTE and Electronic ticketing.
